Biopsy

Firstly we will examine the mouth area thoroughly for possible changes. If need be we will carry out a biopsy to examine the area further. A small area of tissue would be removed to allow us to send off a specimen for further examination.

We will anaesthetise the surface of the skin with a spray prior to the local anaesthesia.

Just like all of our surgical operations, biopsies are carried out at our clinic here in Munich, on Prinzregentenstraβe.
